Provides data on footfall within and journeys to POI locations. Output data spatial aggregation increases on greater distance from the target area.
Overview
The Hub Insights API provides volumes for daily footfall, 15 minute window footfall, and journeys to and from client provided or standard geographic areas. This allows you to measure the kinds of visitors to a given space, along with the origin and destination of the arrival and departure journeys including the mode of travel. As well as journey information it provides the home residential area of an attendee, as well as the location of their first and last activities of the day.

This API provides datasets on:
Footfall Daily - Demographic breakdown of all footfall at poi on a given day.
Footfall Snapshot - Total Footfall at POI every 15 minutes throughout the day.
Journey Daily - Origin geographic area for arrivals and destination geographic area for departures with volumes by day for each POI.
Arrival and Departure Times Hourly - Arrivals and departure by demographic information and hour of day.
Catchment Daily - Home area for all attendees as well as location of first and last activities of the day for all attendees.
Data is provided at MSOA or Local Authority Delivery (LAD) level
In compliance with GDPR, to protect the privacy of our customers and to prevent any identification of individuals, data is aggregate on the volume of population for a given segment. Any volume relating to users under 18 is removed, volume below 10 is marked at “IDE” (Insufficient Data Events) and all volumes are rounded to the nearest 5/10.
